Ice Theory is designed for use across all skin types when used as directed.
For dry skin:
If you have dry skin, we recommend our Deep Hydration serum. It features hyaluronic acid (HA) which is highly effective for dry skin because it is a humectant that attracts up to 1,000 times its weight in water, plumping and hydrating the skin surface.
For oily skin:
If you have oily skin, we recommend our Summer Glow serum. It's powered by niacinamide which helps regulate sebum production, reducing the appearance of enlarged pores, and reducing inflammation from breakouts.

What is Ice Theory?
Ice Theory is freezable skincare, a chilled serum facial you glide across your skin for a fresh, luminous looking finish.
Ice Theory turns traditional ice facials into a clean, repeatable skincare routine with freezable serums™ and an easy-glide applicator.
It is designed to be less messy than ice water and more comfortable than holding ice directly on skin.
Can I use it daily?
Yes. Keep sessions short and comfortable. Most people use it for 30 to 60 seconds.
Start with 30 seconds and increase if your skin loves it.
Should I use it morning or night?
Either works. Morning is great for an awake looking glow. Night is great before moisturiser for a dewy finish.
Do I wash my face before using it?
Yes. Use on clean skin, then follow with moisturiser or SPF depending on time of day.
Can I use it under makeup?
Yes. Wait 2 to 3 minutes after use, then apply makeup as normal.
Will it sting or feel painful?
It should feel cool and refreshing, not painful. If it feels too cold, let it warm for 10 to 20 seconds before starting and keep it moving.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Which serum should I choose?
Deep Hydration is best for a dewy looking finish and bounce glow.
Summer Glow is best for a brighter, more even looking finish.
If you want both, choose the Double Kit.
Can I switch between the two serums?
Yes. Many people use Deep Hydration on drier days and Summer Glow when they want a brighter, glassy look.
How do I fill the applicator?
Add serum into the applicator, seal it, then freeze upright. Do not overfill, leave a little space for even freezing.
Is it messy?
No! The serum stays in the cup until it melts on contact. No bowls, no dripping water, no runoff down your hands.
How long does it take to freeze?
Most freezers will set the serum cup in a few hours. For the cleanest glide, freeze overnight. For best results, keep it stored in the freezer between uses.
Can I keep it in the fridge instead?
No, it needs to be stored in the freezer.
The applicator is designed to fully freeze the serum, which will not happen in a fridge. If it is only stored in the fridge, you will also miss the cooling effect that helps refresh and de-puff the skin.
If needed, you can still apply the serum directly to your skin without freezing it, you just will not get the full frozen facial experience.
How do I clean the applicator?
You can re-use your frozen serum many times before needing to thoroughly clean it.
For a deeper clean, wash weekly with warm water and mild soap, rinse well, and dry fully before refreezing.
